Sometimes the stars align and you decide to jump right in, without a clue what you are going to do next. We want to change our neighborhood. We love everything that is right with it but we can do better. Growing food in our yards, sharing it with friends, talking about ways to slow down and enjoy the great community we live in, showing our children that a tomato picked right off the plant tastes like it has sunshine in it--these are the simple things that make life so special.
We can do this--this thing that is bigger than ourselves. No debate, no doubt. It is time to do what is right--right for our families, our community, our planet. It's time to grow food not lawns!
